darynfillis.com is being continually improved toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. We test the site regularly and prioritize practical access for keyboard, screen-reader, low-vision, and motion-sensitive visitors.
We follow these guidelines because they cover the full range of accessibility needs: visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive. Our goal is for every page on this site to work for every visitor, regardless of how they access the web.
What this site does to support you.
Keyboard navigation
Primary navigation, calls to action, forms, and calculators are designed for keyboard use. Public content pages include a "skip to main content" link.
Screen reader support
Meaningful images use alternative text, and public form fields are associated with accessible labels. We continue reviewing headings and landmark regions for efficient screen-reader navigation.
Color and contrast
Text and interactive-element contrast is reviewed and improved as the site evolves. Information is not intentionally conveyed by color alone.
Resizable text
Layouts are designed to reflow as text is enlarged, with ongoing testing at common browser zoom levels.
Mobile and assistive device support
The site is responsive and works on mobile devices, tablets, and assistive technologies including screen readers, voice recognition software, and switch devices.
Ongoing commitment.
Accessibility is not a one-time project. It is a continuous practice. We test the site regularly using automated tools (WAVE, Lighthouse, axe), manual keyboard testing, and screen reader testing.
When new pages or features are added, they are tested for accessibility before being made public. When older content is updated, we take the opportunity to improve its accessibility as well.
